I created this short film for Dan Savage's Yule Log Project in 2016 in order to raise funds for Camp Interactive in the Bronx. I wished to create an animation that experimented with materials and emphasized clear simple design to evoke a campfire. I ordered several birch logs off of Amazon and broke out my wood burner to create zoetrope animation on the surface of the logs. The sound design conveys a camper coming and dropping logs into a fire.

This short was shown on the Yulelog website as well as played in several lobbies/billboards in NYC and LA.
